Art
Welcome to Ms. Lewandowski’s Art Room!
Where creativity meets faith, and every child is an artist in the making.
I’m Ms. Mary Lewandowski, and I’m blessed to be your child’s K–8 art teacher. With years of experience teaching across grade levels and having served previously as a school counselor, I bring a deep love for both education and the emotional and spiritual growth of each student. I'm thrilled to share my passion for art and teaching in a space where creativity and Catholic values come together beautifully.
In our art room, students will explore the elements of art—line, shape, color, texture, form, space, and value—as we learn to see the world through the eyes of an artist. From bold brush strokes to careful shading, we’ll experiment with a wide range of materials including watercolors, acrylic paints, oil pastels, clay, collage, and mixed media. Each project is designed to foster creative expression while building foundational art skills and an appreciation for artistic beauty.
Rooted in our Catholic faith, our art lessons often draw inspiration from sacred art, religious symbols, and the beauty of God’s creation.
I look forward to a joyful year of discovery, expression, and growth as we create art that reflects both our imaginations and our faith. Thank you for the opportunity to work with your children—it’s truly a blessing.
