“In imparting to his apostles his own power to forgive sins the Lord also gives them the authority to reconcile sinners with the Church. This ecclesial dimension of their task is expressed most notably in Christ's solemn words to Simon Peter: "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." "The office of binding and loosing which was given to Peter was also assigned to the college of the apostles united to its head."

Reconciliation Times

Thirty minutes prior to all weekday Masses (except Holy Days)
Saturday from 4:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM
By appointment
During Advent and Lent Special Penance Services are held.

First Reconciliation

Second grade students in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School and the Parish School of Religion (PSR) program prepare and receive First Reconciliation-often called "confession." Information on preparation for the Sacrament of First Reconciliation for our second grade students is distributed through the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and Parish School of Religion (PSR) programs.

Older children through the age of 14 are prepared through the RCIC program and adults participate in the RCIA program.
