To be married at SEAS, at least one party must be a registered and active steward for at least 9 months prior to setting a wedding date. Active stewardship means participating in time, talent, and treasure.
A recommended 9-12month time period is needed to complete marriage preparation requirements, this includes meetings with the priest, attending an Engaged Encounter retreat weekend, and participating in Natural Family Planning instruction.
