Hello!
I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! Thank you for a wonderful start to our year! The kiddos are adjusting to all the new in our morning routines and rules. Things are going pretty well. I am excited for our school year! I wanted to share some important information for September! Please let me know if you have any questions!
September 23rd: We will be making Applesauce! We ask that everyone brings in an apple (any kind) so they all can core/peel an apple to go in the pot. Feel free to have your student bring in their apple anytime before or on Sept. 23rd!
Important Dates:
- Sept. 12th: Fall Pictures (3 yr old picture day will be Oct. 7th)
- Sept. 25th: Conferences after school
- Sept. 26th: No school
- October 2nd: Conferences
- October 3rd: No school
Looking Ahead:
- Oct. 17th: No school
- Oct. 22nd: Report cards
- Oct. 24th: No school
- Oct. 30th: T/TH Fall Party
Odds and Ends:
- We are hopeful that morning drop off routines will start to run a bit smoother as we work out some of the kinks. If you arrive after 7:40, the Preschool aide will be there to collect your child and they will hold them there until 7:50. After 7:50 you will need to walk your child in and check in through the office. If you arrive and the Preschool aide is not there, they will wait with the extra volunteer until the aide has returned from ushering kids to the library. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. We appreciate your feedback, especially since I am not up there and can't see how things are going.
- If you have not logged into Seesaw yet, please do so or let me know if you are having trouble logging in.
- Mrs. Ronk is collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Students who bring in pop tabs will get to pick a prize out of her prize bucket! If you have any questions about this, please reach out!
- Please wear shoes that are best for recess and running on woodchips.
- Dress code- please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather and in clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
- Please keep a change of clothes in a gallon baggie in your child's backpack. We cannot assist with bathroom hygiene. Please practice at home. In an emergency, parents may be called to assist. Pull ups are also not allowed to be worn to school so please do not send your child in pull ups.
- Please call the office if your child is absent. It also helps if you could send me a quick email letting me know as well.
