Hello and welcome to our Preschool page!

I am so excited to enter my 4th year of teaching here at SEAS and am so blessed to have your child in my class this year! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this very important start to their educational journey.

Please reference this page often, as I update it monthly with a brief outline of what we will be learning this month, as well as other important dates/information. Our morning teacher . para is Mrs. Meier. She is so excited to be working with your child too. We are looking forward to a wonderful time together.

Please make sure to send any school supplies with your student on their first day if you haven't already!

I had 1 family who left their packet of information at school on the horseshoe table. Please let me know if this is yours and I will send it home on your child's first day. If you were unable to make it to open house, your child will bring the packet home to you. Please make sure to read it. Your seesaw login code is on one of the pages :)

Parents are more than welcome to walk their kiddos in on the first day of school!

Please note: The primary way I will be communicating important information is through our class webpage and email. Please make sure to check both regularly (at least once or twice a month) to stay up-to-date with the latest updates and announcements.

Drop Off Information

If you haven't already, please review the email Mrs. Cantrell sent regarding the new Preschool/Prek drop off routine. Morning students MWF AND T/TH will now be dropped off at the Church Bell Tower! If you are walking them in, please park in the church parking lot. After Labor Day, if you still feel the need to walk them in, you will need to sign in at the office and get a visitor pass.

Students who arrive before 7:40 a.m. will be escorted by one of the aides to the library to wait. The room will be locked until 7:40 a.m. I will greet them at the door and let them in when it is time. If they arrive after 7:40 they will wait with the aide at the drop-off location until 7:50 a.m., then will be escorted to the classroom. Anyone who arrives after 7:50 a.m. will need to park, walk them in, and check in through the office.

It will be a new system for everyone, so we will all need some grace for the next few weeks to adjust.

Morning Pick-Up:A small handout will be sent home regarding pick-up procedures for the morning class on funeral days. Our AM class gets out at the same time as funerals do, and as you can imagine, it is uncomfortable for everyone. On those days, you can typically tell based on how full the parking lot is or if there is a limo in front of the church, pick-up will be at the flagpole. We started doing this last year, and it went really well. I will send Mrs. Meier over to the bell tower to direct anyone who may have forgotten. If I know ahead of time, I will send out an email letting everyone know.

Other Important Information:

  • The 1st days of school will be August 19th and 21st. We stagger start the kids so please reach out to either me or Mrs. Cantrell to find out what 1st day your child will be attending or if you have any other questions. We do allow parents to walk their students in on the first day, but after that we prefer parents drop off at the door with the teacher aide.

  • Seesaw: Please let me know if you are having trouble logging into your child's Seesaw account. We try our best to post pictures weekly, so make sure to check your child's page often to see all the fun things we are doing! :)

  • Starting the first week, I will be sending your child's "to and from home" folder that they will keep in their back pack to bring to school everyday. I have labeled the inside pockets with HOME and SCHOOL. We will put things that need to stay home on the left side and things that need to be returned to school on the right side. Please include anything you want to send to us in there too.

  • Please keep a change of clothes in a gallon baggie in your child's backpack. We cannot assist with bathroom hygiene. Please practice at home. In an emergency, parents may be called to assist.
